Lo scultore Shigetomo e il figlio Yosaku rimangono bloccati in una capanna a causa di una tempesta di neve. Qui vengono assaliti dalla terribile donna delle nevi. Questa, inbaghitasi di Yosaku, decide di risparmiarlo a patto che non racconti mai quello che ha visto. Un giorno, una misteriosa giovane donna conquista il cuore di Yosaku. Tutto sembra andare bene, ma uno sfortunato incidente mette in discussione il futuro.
A snowstorm traps sculptor Shigetomo and his apprentice Yosaku in a cabin where they are attacked by the terrible Snow Woman. Enamoured of Yosaku, she decides to spare him on condition that he never tells what he saw. One day, a mysterious young woman wins Yosaku's heart. Everything seems to be going well, but an unfortunate incident throws the future into question.
