Il giovane Tadashi, trasferitosi da poco in un piccolo villaggio, viene scelto come cavaliere del Kirin. Il bambino, tramite un piccolo spirito della foresta, incontra altri Yokai e scopre che il malvagio Kato trasforma gli Yokai buoni in creature mostruose. After moving to a small village, Young Tadashi is chosen as a knight of the Kirin. Through a small spirit of the forest, the child meets other Yōkai and discovers that the evil Kato transforms good Yōkai into monstrous creatures. According to legend, only the knight of the Kirin can bring peace to the world... A monster-filled phantasmagoria inspired by Mizuki Shigeru, who acted as a consultant on the film.
