A Seul un giovane tassista incontra Hara, una ragazza bellissima di cui si innamora. Ma un uomo misterioso lo avverte che la donna è molto più pericolosa di quanto sembri. Hara infatti è la reincarnazione dell'ultima gumiho (volpe a nove code) rimasta al mondo. E l'uomo misterioso è il Tristo Mietitore n. 69 mandato sulla terra su decreto ufficiale firmato dal re degli inferi Yeomra che ordina catturare la gumiho.
A young Seoul taxi driver meets beautiful Hara and falls in love with her. But a mysterious man warns him that she is much more dangerous than she seems. Hara is in fact the reincarnation of the last gumiho (nine-tailed fox) left in the world. And the mysterious man is Grim Reaper No. 69 sent to earth by an official decree signed by the king of the underworld Yeomra, who orders the gumiho to be captured.
