In questa edizione, a trasmettere un’energia vibrante sarà Betty Apple, artista e performer di Taipei, che ha già catturato l’attenzione della rivista Vogue Italia.
Artista d'avanguardia cresciuta nella Taiwan postcoloniale, Betty Apple combina musica, media art e performance per esplorare il caos dell’era consumistica. Attraverso oggetti erotici simbolici del kitsch e della società dei consumi, il suo lavoro sfida estetiche e convenzioni con un linguaggio talvolta grottesco e provocatorio. Sarà la protagonista indomita della Pink Night, con un’eclettica performance seguita da DJ set.
Ad aprire e chiudere la serata sarà Triptamica: musicista, sound artist e DJ dai set poliedrici, neuroplastici e genre-less.

Pink, eros, sexuality: the watchwords of Pink Night! The iconic pink evening of the Far East Film Festival has always been inspired by the Japanese film genre pinku eiga, which is characterised by provocative erotic content. Adopting a transfeminist perspective, it questions the representation of bodies, exploring the different facets of eros through talks, performances, installations and DJ sets.
In this edition, vibrant pink energy will be transmitted by Betty Apple, an artist and performer from Taipei who has already captured the attention of Vogue Italia magazine.
An avant-garde artist raised in postcolonial Taiwan, Betty Apple combines music, media art and performance to explore the chaos of the consumerist era. Through erotic objects symbolising kitsch and consumer society, her work challenges aesthetics and conventions using language which is at times grotesque and provocative. She will be the undisputed protagonist of Pink Night, with an eclectic performance followed by a DJ set.
Opening and closing the night is Triptamica: musician, sound artist, and DJ known for her eclectic, neuroplastic, genre-less sets.
To help make the evening a safer space, the MisMàs association will be there with a Harm Reduction booth: free alcohol tests, flyers with information about psychoactive substances, risk-reduction games, and anti-prohibitionist prints.
